The Garmin Street Pilot c330 is a good choice if you will be using it mainly in your vehicle.

It is fully functional outside your vehicle on the Internal Battery, but it is about the size of a baseball, and a little awkward to carry.

and outside your vehicle while walking on city streets.

It is fully functional outside your vehicle on the Internal Battery, and is about the size of a deck of cards.

It will fit easily into a shirt pocket or purse.
