We offer the Garmin eTrex Handheld GPS Systems as our Off-Road rental units.
The Garmin eTrex is a highly rated and popular GPS for Geocaching and wilderness activities.
These GPS Systems are for use off the beaten track. They are highly rated and very popular for Geocaching and Team Building events. They are used for navigation by coordinates rather than street addresses. Great for out in the woods or locating places that do not actually have an address.
Typical usage would include Geocaching, Team Building, Scouting Merit Badges, Parties, Hiking, Hunting, Education, Horseback riding and moving around off the beaten path.

The low rental rate starts at just $4.00 per day, and goes down for longer term rentals.
Every seventh day is FREE
Automatic 10 % discount on all rentals of 5 units or more.

As GPS Technology has continued to develop, the Systems have become more compact, and more powerful. Many new features have been added, and there will surely be more in the future. A significant change is in what would be considered an Off-Road GPS. While the traditional Handheld System remains very popular, some of the newer systems have become what might be termed Crossover Systems.
These Systems have larger memory and often incorporate more than one of the original concepts.
One relevant example is The Garmin Nuvi 500 withtraditional On-the-Road highway mapping and the associated features, and also has topographical mapping and features for use Off-Road.
